What does visual servoing mean?
Controlling a robot directly from what its camera sees, in a closed loop. Image based visual servoing keeps the error in pixels, for example turning until the target is centred, and never converts to distances.
In a lesson
Steering by what the camera sees, while driving, is called visual servoing. It is how a drone follows a person, how a robot arm picks up a cup, and how BugBot is about to park in front of a tag.
